Processes are at the heart of every asset operator. From technical processes such as the planning and construction process, to commercial processes in the management of assets, through to strategic processes. The processes define how the business is conducted. This is sometimes documented and sometimes merely implied. Process flows have often grown organically and are characterised by individual people. As soon as people with experience are no longer there, a lot of knowledge is lost. Due to demographics, this is a challenge that many asset operators face. In addition, many processes have grown due to history. This means that such processes could run more efficiently. Especially with today’s lack of resources, it is important to organise processes efficiently so that they can still be managed in the future if there are no more resources available.
This is why we support our customers in optimising process organisations. Our aim is to organise processes efficiently and prepare them for the future. We know what is important here and recognise the hurdles and opportunities. We know what transformer oil smells like, stand in construction pits and write accounting records. That’s why we boldly introduce new ideas and scrutinise the status quo. We are prepared to topple monuments. We do this with a great deal of empathy in order to create accepted process organisations. We use agile and traditional methods, from value stream analyses to gemba walks. We provide support with a great deal of experience, expertise and empathy.
